This gorgeous 3100 sq. ft home has unbeatable, one-of-a-kind views, for the Glacier/ Mt. Baker area. Standing in the living room you look out over a serene quiet pond with the backdrop of Church Mountain just behind it. This home is located among the closest lodging for the Mt. Baker Ski area, Artist point, and Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest. It has 3 large bedrooms with king beds, and a 4th bedroom with a queen bed. There are two master suits, and 4 bathrooms in total. The breathtaking views, cozy river rock fireplace, and relaxing atmosphere make this an ideal and memorable getaway. There is an auto-start generator, so you never have to worry about being left in the dark during power outages.
The layout:
Pulling up to the front of the home there is a two-car garage you are welcome to use, and the main entrance. The large mudroom has tons of space to hang your wet ski or hiking gear, and plenty of shelving for your belongings. There are heated floors which extend throughout the entire house. You can park in the back of the home for ease of unloading without stairs.
Heading up the 2nd floor there is a large open concept kitchen, dining, and living area with beautiful views of the Snowline Pond and Church Mountain. The well stocked kitchen has granite counter tops, solid wood cabinetry, a gas stove, and all the supplies you need to cook gourmet meals, there is also a propane BBQ on the balcony. We provide a detailed binder with local restaurants and other information in case you prefer to relax and let someone else take care of the meals.
The cozy living room has a beautiful gas river rock fireplace where you can snuggle up with your favorite beverage for those chilly winter nights, and a bar with a mini fridge for cool refreshing drinks. Or step outside onto the covered deck and enjoy the ambiance of breathtaking mountain and pond views while you warm yourself by the gas fire table and relax in the comfy seating.
The main floor is rounded off with a spacious laundry room, a master suite, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and the main ¾ bath with a tiled shower.
The master suite includes a private attached bath with a beautiful tiled walk-in shower, a double sink vanity, and a large walk-in closet. The king bed is adjustable with separate controllers so each side can find their own perfect comfort level for the ideal night’s sleep.
Out the back door there is a brand-new hot tub for relaxing your muscles after a long day on the world record slopes of the Mt. Baker Ski area, or hiking in the breathtaking and famous Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest.
Upstairs on the 3rd floor there is a second master suit on your right with a king bed, and an attached bath with a tile shower, and a walk-in closet. There is a bonus room with an exercise bike & yoga mats in the middle. To the left is the 4th bathroom with a shower, and the 4th bedroom which also has a king bed and walk-in closet.
We have another gorgeous home called the Woodlands Chalet which is just two doors down and there is a little trail that connects the two places, so if you’re looking for other accommodation for your friends these two homes are ideal together.
~We cannot guarantee the hot tub will be hot and ready the night of your arrival. It depends on how the previous guests treated it and if we have to drain it, but we will do our best to have it ready.
~ PLEASE NOTE: This driveway is steep, and it can be very icy and snowy in winter. We recommend 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles only for staying in the winter time (approximately mid-October to late March). We do plow and shovel driveways as quickly as we can once snow arrives, and we do our best to maintain them safely, but if you are leaving early to head to the mountain and your vehicle packs down the snow it won’t plow as well and it will turn to ice later in the day. Please plan accordingly. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO STREET SIDE PARKING ALLOWED; ALL VEHICLES MUST BE COMPLETELY IN THE DRIVEWAY PER COMMUNITY RULES. There is a 2-car garage at the top of the hill you are welcome to use if you can make it to the top. If you have roof racks, they may not fit into the garage.
