It’s looking like winter up at the Mt. Baker Ski Area. The snow is falling and it sure is beautiful! Won’t be long now….

We are working on a new rental that will be up on our website soon. This is a lovely 3 bedroom 1, 3/4 bath home in Glacier, WA. It is located in the gated community of Mt. Baker Rim which is among the closest places to stay for visiting the Mt. Baker Ski Area. It has two bedrooms downstairs, one with a queen bed, and one with two twin beds. The upstairs is a full private master loft. There is a queen bed, and a large bathroom with a shower. It will be available around Christmas and New Years, and possibly sooner, so check back soon!

Artist Point has closed for the season. The weather is chilly, and Glacier, WA saw its first freeze of the fall this morning. It has snowed a little up at the Mt. Baker Ski Area.  We will keep you posted on any new snow updates as they arrive!

The first snow of the season has come. We have received a little fresh dusting just above the Heather Meadows Lodge at Mt. Baker.

Serene Mountain Escapes is now being featured on the Mt. Baker Ski Area website. With summer winding down to its end, and fall just around the corner, it’s time to start thinking about plans for snow and the many guests that winter brings to the Mt. Baker/ Glacier Area. We have three other homes currently waiting to join our rental program, so stay tuned for more great places to stay!

The snow has finally melted up at Artist Point! The hikes are open and the weather is perfect. Come up and enjoy the amazing views right from the parking lot, or if you enjoy hiking there are many hikes around that range from just a mile or so to 10 miles or more in length.

Looking for something fun to do this summer? Come check out Silver Lake Park! They offer paddle boat, row boat, and paddle board rentals. Life jackets are included too! There are many picnic tables, & BBQs, there is also a large grassy field for games, and hiking trails, and a playground too!
