Yesterday was a perfect day up at Mt. Baker! Often times tourists and visitors ask me what the weather is like around Glacier, and Mt. Baker in the summer time. Usually we have warm summers with temperatures anywhere between the high 70’s to the mid 90’s. On occasion we get a few days of cool weather in the low 70’s accompanied by some clouds. These usually only last a few days. This week has been one of these cooler temperature times. It is such a nice refreshment after the weeks of hot weather in the high 90’s we had a few weeks back. It was perfect for some hiking! The clouds and the misty mountains make things so beautiful in a whole different way. When the clouds and the mist roll down the awe inspiring mountain peaks it is absolutely breathtaking! There is truly no place quite like this gorgeous area I am so fortunate to call my home!
