Late autumn, and early winter are very beautiful times of year in Glacier. Though the leaves are mostly gone off the deciduous trees, the sun often shines, and the light snowfall on the lower elevation mountains looks like a little sugar coated top. I always look forward to the reflection of a snow capped Church Mountain in the Snowline Pond on a sunny early winter day. This photo was taken just outside our rental The Heron’t Nest!
