Foxgloves are one of my favorite wildflowers in the Glacier/ Mt. Baker area! They are so beautiful and abundant! In the early summer they cover the sides of the Mt. Baker Hwy and can be found along the rivers and trails around Glacier. In the later summer they are all over up at the Mt. Baker Ski Area, and Artist Point. One of my favorite things about them is that they stand about 2-3 feet tall, and have larger flowers so they can be seen very well even at a distance. The beautiful purple and white flowers add so much color to the already breathtaking views at the top of Hwy. 542! What an amazing place to live and visit!
